Diagnostic Wax-Up

Diagnostic wax-ups aren’t required to do great dentistry, but they are immensely helpful! At Costa Aesthetics, we carefully hand craft every wax-up with great precision and detail to provide you with a fully-functioning design to aid during preparation and to determine proper tooth shape, structure and reduction for the final restoration(s).

We will work closely with you during this process to ensure the smile design is exactly what is needed for your patient to achieve optimal esthetics and the golden proportion of the anterior segment of the case. It is imperative to understand that, if you don’t reduce adequately, our hands are tied by the design of the preparation.
